How to replace the cabin air filter on a Smart ForTwo

Before we can begin, we will need to get inside the cockpit of our Smart ForTwo. So let's start by unhooking the clips that secure the passenger compartment air filter cover, positioned near the driving pedals. Next, we will have to disengage and remove the filter cover itself. By doing so, we will have reached the cabin air filter. We then proceed by extracting the filter from its housing, and disassembly will be completed. To fit the new filter, we will simply have to repeat this procedure in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
