Do you want to replace the car battery? Not sure where to find it? Let’s see where the battery is located in the Smart. Open the car door and lift the carpet covering the floor inside the cabin.

Once the floor compartment is open, you will find the battery at the bottom; unscrew the securing pins of the battery terminals, then remove it from the housing and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Refit the battery cover and then secure the carpet covering.

Start the Smart’s engine for a functionality test.
