How to remove the intercooler of the Smart Fortwo 0.8 CDI

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

Let's see in this short video the main steps that will allow us to remove and replace the intercooler of the Smart Fortwo, with 0.8 CDI engine. First of all we access the rear engine compartment and start by disconnecting the electrical connector of the EGR valve, as well as the tube that we find on the upper part; after which we remove the EGR valve to access the intercooler. At this point we disconnect the hoses of our intercooler and unscrew the fixing screws to remove it and replace it with the new one; now let's reassemble the new spare part and then mount the EGR valve!
