In this tutorial, you will see how to remove and then replace the rear bumper on a Smart ForTwo 451, a very simple and quick operation. You will need a Torx T20 key, a flat-head screwdriver, and a plastic spatula for removing the inserts. The first step is to remove the headlights, then unscrew all the bolts along the perimeter of the bumper. Once this is done, you can remove the plastic rivets located at the bottom and in the lower part of the wheel arches. At this point, the bumper is free to be removed and replaced by following the reverse procedure.
