How to Install the Speedometer on Smart 451

In this video tutorial, see how to install the speedometer on a Smart 451. First, remove the plastic cover located above the dashboard using a plastic trim tool to avoid damage. Once the plastic cover is removed, locate the connector.

After finding the connector, connect it to the new speedometer and check if it works; then insert the key and start the engine. At this point, you should see the speedometer needles moving correctly.

Adjust the clock time. Tidy the cable inside and position the speedometer in the place where the plastic cover was. Screw the cover back on.
