How to replace the air filter on Smart 450.

In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to replace the air filter on Smart 450, following a few simple steps. The first thing we need to do is to purchase a new air filter; next step we have to get into the car, turn off the engine and apply the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the special rod. Now we have to remove the insulating cover; the air filter is located on the left side of the engine compartment. Remove the 4 clips located in the filter box, remove the air box cover, remove the old filter, wipe the filter housing with a clean cloth, place the new air filter and reassemble all parts in reverse .
