Where to Find the Fuse Box in a Smart Fortwo

Contrary to popular belief, the fuse box is often located in easily accessible places, albeit hidden for safety reasons. Before discovering where the fuse box is situated in the Smart Fortwo, ensure the engine is off and disconnect the battery to perform any maintenance safely. Once done, enter the vehicle on the driver's side and locate the plastic cover just below the steering wheel. Gently lower it without removing it completely, and you will have access to the fuse box right underneath.
