How to Remove the Steering Wheel of the Smart 451

To remove the steering wheel from the vehicle, follow these steps: first, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then remove the plastic panels around the steering column by unscrewing the locking screws underneath. At this point, you will have access to the Torx screw located just beneath the steering wheel, which you need to loosen to extract the steering wheel itself. Be careful to disconnect the electrical connector located behind the steering wheel hub, and the job will be complete.
