How to Remove the Steering Wheel from the Smart 451?

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

To remove the steering wheel from the Smart 451, loosen the bolts located at the lower rear of the steering wheel to free the airbag in the centre. Once the airbag is extracted, disconnect its connector and loosen the central nut underneath that secures the steering to its column. This will allow you to completely remove the steering wheel and insert the new replacement part. After installation, reconnect and secure the central airbag with its screws.
