As shown in this tutorial, replacing the external rear-view mirror on a Smart Roadster is a very simple and quick operation. First, open the door you will be working on, then remove the indicated rubber cap and unscrew the released bezel. Next, unscrew the two screws securing the plastic panel using a Torx T10 key, remove the panel, and using a Torx T20 key, unscrew the additional indicated screws. At this point, simply separate the mirror from the door and follow the reverse procedure.
