In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the air temperature sensor in a Smart ForTwo. First, ensure the engine is sufficiently cool, then open the rear hatch and remove the floor panel. Next, locate the sensor, which is positioned just below the air filter box, and disconnect the power connector. At this point, grasp the two retaining clips of the sensor, press them, and pull outward to extract the sensor from its housing. To install the replacement, simply insert it firmly and reconnect the connector.
