To replace the external wing mirror of the Smart Forfour, use a tool to pry off the triangular cover inside the door, corresponding to the mirror. Once this is detached, unscrew the screw located in the handle's housing to move the panel and access the mirror connector. The mirror can now be removed from its position by unscrewing the corresponding fixing screws; at this point, you can insert the new mirror and reassemble the other components that were removed.
