How to reset the service light in a Smart ForFour?

Follow the procedure explained by the author of this video to reset the service light in a Smart Forfour, specifically the model produced between 2004 and 2006. 1) Start by turning on the instrument cluster; 2) press the reset button for the trip odometer (located at the top, above the dashboard) until the display shows the remaining kilometres until the service due; 3) switch off the ignition; 4) hold down the button and turn the ignition back on; 5) continue to hold the button for at least 10 seconds; 6) when the display shows a change in the remaining kilometres, you can release the button and switch off the ignition.
