To remove the rear panel of the Smart, you need to loosen all the screws that secure it to its housing. First, open the rear hatch to access the screws that hold the panel from the top. Then, proceed to loosen the screws that secure it from inside the rear wheel arches and from the bottom of the bumper.

Once all screws are loosened, you can completely detach the panel from its housing to insert the new one. The new panel must then be secured with the appropriate screws.
