How to Change the Oil in a Smart

First, locate the oil reservoir, which is under the panel of the small boot on the right. Next, remove the cap from the sump located under the engine to drain the used oil. Make sure to have a container ready to avoid spilling oil on the ground.

Once all the used oil is removed, it is advisable to replace the old filter with a new one, which is also located at the bottom of the engine. Now, all that's left is to add the recommended amount of oil.
