This video explains how to perform the short and simple procedure to cancel the Service light on the Smart Fortwo 450, both diesel and petrol. It is assumed that this will be done after performing the necessary maintenance, either DIY or in a workshop.

Proceed as follows: Press and hold the button on the left side of the steering wheel with the instrument cluster on, turn off the cluster after ensuring the light has been reset, and then turn it back on again, thus completing the entire sequence simply, quickly, and without the need for electronic tools.
