How to Replace the Key Battery for a Subaru Solterra?

To replace the battery of a Subaru Solterra key, start by locating the unlock button or release button on the key fob. Press this button to extract the physical key from the fob. Using a small flat screwdriver or a similar tool, pry open the edge of the key fob to access the inside.

Inside the fob, you will find the battery.

Remove the old battery using a small screwdriver or a similar tool to gently lift the side of the battery and pop it out of its holder. Make sure to note the orientation of the old battery so you can insert the new battery correctly.

Once the old battery is removed, insert the new battery in the same position and orientation. Close the key fob carefully, ensuring the parts snap together properly.

Now the battery of your Subaru Solterra key has been successfully replaced.
