To replace the battery of a Subaru Solterra key, start by locating the unlock button or release button on the key fob. Press this button to remove the physical key from the key fob case. Using a small flathead screwdriver or a similar tool, pry open the edge of the key case to open it. Inside the case, you will find the battery. Remove the old battery using a small screwdriver or a similar tool to gently lift the side of the battery and remove it from its slot. Make sure to note the orientation of the old battery so you can correctly insert the new battery. Once the old battery is removed, insert the new battery in the same position and orientation. Close the key case carefully, making sure the parts fit together properly. Now the battery of your Subaru Solterra key has been successfully replaced.
