In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the timing belt of a Subaru Xv 2.0L Diesel. We open and lift the bonnet and go to remove the protective cover of the belt and the alternator, going to remove the fixing screws; then we go to loosen the pretensioner with a socket wrench and remove the timing belt, as shown in the video. At this point, replace it with the new one, of the right type, and insert it in the correct direction, always acting on the pretensioner for assembly; we just have to put the lid back on and that's it!

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
