How do you remove the engine air filter on a Subaru Impreza? Let's see how to do it after opening the engine bay. Once the front bonnet is lifted, locate the container that holds the air filter. Release the metal clips around the filter container. Remove the lid of the container and take out the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls. Finally, refit the lid of the air box and tighten the clips over the cover. Replace the original filter with the exact same original filter.
