In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the air filter in a 2002 Subaru Impreza with a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to purchase a new air filter from an authorised dealer; the next step is to get inside the vehicle, turn off the car, and pull the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod, take a 10 mm socket and remove the 10 mm securing bolt. Once this bolt is removed, you need to remove the securing clips of the filter box; disconnect the intake pipe, open the box, remove the air filter, clean the housing and the cover of the box; position the new air filter in place. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
