Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Subaru Legacy MK 5, BM, BR - Years 2009-2014
Part: Air filter

The air filter housing is located at the front right of the engine bay (when viewed from the front), just behind the headlamp; unclip the metal clips to open the air box and remove the old filter; ensure there are no impurities inside (vacuum them out if necessary) and insert the new filter. Refit the cover ensuring it seals properly against the gasket and secure the clips. The new filter will allow the correct airflow, enabling smoother engine operation, improving performance and fuel consumption.
