Replacing Front Discs and Pads

Once the vehicle is raised on a lift or supported by appropriate axle stands, remove the front wheel. Leverage between the disc and pads to retract the piston and facilitate the removal of the caliper.

At this point, unscrew the caliper mounting bolts located at the rear and remove it; then extract the old pads and proceed to remove the caliper bracket to access the disc. Clean the new disc of protective oil before fitting it, reattach the caliper bracket, insert the new pads, and finally refit the caliper.
