To replace the battery on a Subaru Outback, open the bonnet to access the engine bay and locate the battery, which is positioned near the left front headlamp. Once the battery is located, disconnect the terminals attached to it and loosen the securing bolts.

After these operations, the battery can be lifted out of its housing and replaced with a new spare part. The new battery should then be secured in its housing with the appropriate bolts and connected to the terminals on top.
