How to replace the key battery of the Subaru Legacy

To be able to correctly replace the battery in the key of your Subaru Legacy Mk5, just put into practice the instructions you will find in the following mini guide. First get a flat head screwdriver and use it to open the cover. Once this is done, take out the entire battery door located inside and open it too using the flat screwdriver. Finally, remove the old exhausted battery and insert the new one making sure it is a CR1620. At this point all that remains is to reassemble the various components removed previously and personally test the functioning of the key.

Using a socket wrench, unscrew the fastening bolts of the bumper located at the top as shown in the video.
