This brief and simple guide will show us the process of disassembling and replacing the battery of the Subaru Legacy key remote. First, we take our remote and start unscrewing the small screw found on the back; then we pry open the remote in two parts by levering on the side slot, accessing the electronic board and the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct direction and secure the two shells with the screw!
