How to Locate the Fuses and Understand Their Schematics in a Subaru Legacy

Model: Subaru Legacy MK 4, BP, BL - Years 2003-2009

The first fuse panel in a Subaru Legacy can be found inside the vehicle's cabin, specifically located behind the dashboard at the bottom left of the steering wheel, on the driver's side; this panel contains fuses assigned to: central locking, windscreen wipers, brake lights, accessory sockets, position lights, indicators, SRS airbag system, automatic transmission unit, clock, cigarette lighter socket, air conditioning, heated seats, audio unit, fog lights, ABS, etc. The next fuse box is located in the engine compartment and contains: headlights, dipped beams, horn, fuel pump, alternator, rear screen demister, ignition coil, etc.
