How to replace the fuel pump in the Subaru Legacy?

As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the fuel pump in the Subaru Legacy is an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we open the hood, then we remove the indicated fuse, start the engine and let it shut off due to lack of fuel flow. We then disconnect the battery, lift the rear seat cushion and open the central cap. At this point, we can disconnect both the power connector and both hoses, unscrew the fixing bolts of the ring and remove the pump from the tank. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
