Subaru Legacy - Video tutorial

Model: Subaru Legacy BR, MK 5, BM - Years 2009-2014
Part: Shock absorbers
Operation: How to replace the rear shock absorber on a Subaru Legacy

Before we begin, we will need to lift the rear of our Subaru Legacy. So let's start by disassembling and removing the rear wheel, simply by unscrewing the relative fixing bolts. Subsequently, using a jack, we will have to loosen the tension of the shock absorber by lifting the base. Once this is done, we will have to unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the shock absorber to the hub support and to the frame, and then remove the shock absorber itself. When we have completed this step, we will have finished the disassembly. To mount the new shock on our Subaru Legacy, we will have to follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be completed.
