Let's see how to fold down the rear seats of a Volvo S80: open the tailgate of the boot and look for the release lever located inside the boot, just after opening the tailgate. It is a black lever, sometimes matching the colour of the bodywork.

Pull the lever firmly towards you. The backrest will fold down completely. This way, you will have space to load long and bulky items.

On some versions, there may be two separate levers to fold down the seats, which are split 60/40, instead of a single lever that folds both sections. Pulling the lever requires a bit of force.
