This short video will illustrate the main instructions that will allow you to remove and replace the timing belt and water pump on the Subaru Forester 2.5L. First, open the bonnet of your car and start removing the serpentine belt by loosening the tensioner; then remove the timing cover, taking all necessary references for the timing belt replacement as shown in the video.

At this point, install the new original belt and reassemble everything, including the serpentine belt.
