Follow this brief and simple guide for the steps to open the bonnet of the Subaru XV, following the instructions below. First, get in the vehicle and pull the lever located at the bottom on the driver's side; then move to the front and release the lock mechanism lever found in the centre by lifting it upwards.

At this point, lift the bonnet, which is held by hydraulic struts; push the bonnet down and press firmly to close it, as shown in the video!
