To replace the battery in a Subaru XV, open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay: the battery is located on the right side of the compartment. Remove the battery from its housing by loosening the screws that secure the bracket and disconnecting the terminals attached to it; at this point, insert the new replacement battery into its housing, securing it properly with the relevant screws and then check that everything functions correctly.
