Removing the External Rear-View Mirror

To remove the external rear-view mirror, you must first take off the door trim panel to access the connector that links it to the electric adjustment system. Similarly, you will be able to access the screws that secure the mirror to the door pillar, which must be unscrewed to complete the removal. If you wish to remove just the mirror glass, note that it is secured at the bottom by two elastic clips and at the top by two tabs that fit into specific slots on the mirror support. To remove the glass, pull the lower edge outward and then unclip the upper edge.
