How to Remove and Reinstall the Air Chamber

Model: Subaru Outback BL, BP, MK 3 - Years 2003-2009

For this operation, you will need the following tools: 8-10mm socket set; stop teeth and extensions; spanner; trim. Start by opening the bonnet by pushing the lever located under the dashboard inside the car. Then, use the spanner to unscrew the screws holding the protective panel. Next, disconnect the connectors attached to the air chamber. At this point, proceed to remove it by extracting all the screws that hold it in place. To reinstall, simply reverse all the steps outlined above.
