Subaru Outback - Video tutorial

Model: Subaru Outback MK 3, BP, BL - Years 2003-2009
Part: Radiator
Operation: How to remove the radiator of a Subaru Outback

Let's see in this video how to disassemble the radiator. We put the car safely on a column bridge, lift the car to the desired height and begin to disassemble all the plastic under-engine shelters. With a screwdriver we unscrew the screws under the radiator and let the liquid flow into it, making it flow into a container. We disconnect the radiator hoses with the help of pliers and with a screwdriver unscrew all the steel clamps, disconnect the electrical terminal of the radiator thermocontact. We lower the car to the ground and remove the grille cover in the upper part in the engine compartment. We disconnect the coolant pipe by always unscrewing the clamps and the liquid tank, unscrew all the radiator fixing bolts with a socket wrench and pull it out of the engine compartment housing. Arrived this far, we remove the ventilation fans from the radiator and mount them on the new radiator, being careful to mount the same in the same way. We insert the radiator in the engine compartment and mount all the relative stops with all the liquid circulation pipes and the filler tank. We always pay attention to the position of the steel clamps. We lift the car with the bridge and reassemble all the pipes in the lower part with the clamps. Finally we are going to reassemble all the panels of the engine compartment. We top up the tank with the new coolant.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
