How to activate maintenance mode on the Suzuki Grand Vitara Hybrid

In this video we can see how to activate the maintenance mode of the Suzuki Grand Vitara Hybrid: this procedure is used to bypass the default electric start of hybrid cars and start the gasoline engine, so that the emission control can be carried out. We will need to press the start button twice, without starting the car: the dashboard will light up, but the car will remain in "ready" mode; press the accelerator fully twice, put the car in neutral and hold down the brake, then while still holding down the brake, shift the lever from N to P. Press the accelerator again twice: now the message "maintenance mode active" or a similar message should appear on the dashboard. Now we can start the car by pressing the brake and the power button once, and the gasoline engine should start automatically.
