Removing the Fuel Pump on a Suzuki Vitara

Need to remove the fuel pump on a Suzuki Vitara? Let’s look at removing the pump directly from inside the tank. Lift the car with a jack, locate the securing screws around the tank. Unscrew all the securing screws with a socket wrench. Lower the tank to the ground. Remove the fuel pump from inside the tank (disconnect the electrical connectors). Install the new pump inside the tank, screw in the securing screws after reconnecting the electrical connectors. Reinstall the tank under the vehicle floor. Start and test the vehicle.
