This guide shows you how to dismantle and replace the engine oil pump on a Suzuki Samurai, as well as on a Jimny. In this case, the oil pump has already been removed from the vehicle after draining the oil and removing the timing belt; this allows you to take off the oil pump cover. Now, dismantle the internal gear of the pump, replacing it with a new one if necessary; use a feeler gauge to measure the internal tolerances of the pump, then assemble all its components and refit everything!
