How to Adjust the Handbrake on a Suzuki Grand Vitara

Before you can begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Suzuki Grand Vitara. Start by moving the front seats all the way forward. Next, unscrew and remove the screws you have uncovered that secure the lower cover of the handbrake, then unclip and remove all the covers of the centre tunnel, disconnecting any electrical connectors. At this point, you can unclip and remove the handbrake surround, thus reaching the adjuster. Once you have completed this step, you can adjust the handbrake to your preference, and you will be finished.
