How to Remove Internal Handle on Suzuki Vitara

Learn how to remove the door opening lever on the Vitara (door handle). Detach the trim piece around the handle, then disconnect the door opening lever. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws located inside the space where the door opening lever is. Use a plastic spatula to unclip the plastic by levering around the entire perimeter, then remove it by hand. Disconnect the opening lever cable from behind the lever. Fit the new protective plastic inside the door panel, then attach the opening lever to the release hook. Screw in the securing screws.
