Windshield Replacement Instructions

Model: Suzuki Ignis MK 2 - Years 2003-2008

Once you have removed the old windscreen (generally, a steel wire is used to cut the adhesive), carefully remove the residual adhesive from the windscreen seat, thoroughly clean the surface with solvent, and then evenly apply the sealant around the entire perimeter (it is better to use those that require the application of a primer on both the bodywork and the edge of the new windscreen, both to speed up drying and to ensure better adhesion); finally, position the new windscreen, centring it accurately and pressing to ensure it adheres perfectly (it may be useful to apply straps to hold it in place during the drying phase).
