In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the alternator in the Suzuki Grand Vitara, an operation that requires good manual skills. First, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then remove the air filter box and disconnect both the intake manifold and the two hoses located underneath it. Next, unscrew the two bolts securing the alternator with a 12mm and a 14mm spanner, release the belt from the pulley, and remove the mounting bracket.

To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure, ensuring to tension the belt correctly.
