To do this, you will only need a replacement CR2025 battery and a small flathead screwdriver or an equivalent tool. To open the remote, locate the slot along the top edge, then insert the screwdriver into it and, by levering, separate the two halves. Once done, you can remove the old battery and insert the replacement, ensuring the negative side is facing you.
