Important Advice Regarding the Infrequent Use of a Suzuki Hybrid Vehicle

It is important to know that if you own a Suzuki hybrid vehicle (this advice applies to any vehicle with a lithium traction battery). If the vehicle is not used for more than two weeks, always check the state of charge of the traction battery. Do not let the battery charge drop to one bar, as it becomes nearly impossible to recharge and may become unusable. Given the considerable cost of a traction battery in a hybrid car, it is wise to keep an eye on it and occasionally run the engine for at least fifteen minutes to recharge it. There is no need to disconnect it when not in use, as all the electronic components could be damaged.
