Instructions for Installing Rear Shock Absorbers

Replacing the rear shock absorbers is relatively easy since the damper and spring are not co-axial; start by opening the rear hatch and removing the plastic cap on the internal trim above the shock absorber dome, then unscrew the stem retaining nut and remove the plate and support rubber; lift the vehicle using a jack under the rear axle to unscrew and remove the fixing pin of the shock absorber eyelet and take the shock absorber out of its seat; transfer the washer, bush, and rubber from the old to the new shock absorber and proceed in reverse for installation.
