Replacing the Remote Battery on the Suzuki Swift

The battery that powers the remote for the Suzuki Swift will eventually run out with time and use, and we need to replace it. Using a small cross-head screwdriver, loosen the screw at the base of the key blade on the side where the logo is located, then pry along the edge with a blade and rotate the shell sideways. Remove the block with the buttons and pry along the edge to separate the two halves; in one of them, you will find the battery compartment. Remove it and insert a new CR1620 in its place, reassemble the two parts and insert them into the lower shell, rotate the upper one, secure it, and tighten the cross-head screw.
