How do you adjust the handbrake of the Suzuki Jimny?

In order to adjust the handbrake of the Suzuki Jimny, you need to tighten the nut located at the base of the handbrake lever: tightening it will make the lever harder and reduce its travel; conversely, loosening the nut will make the lever softer and increase its travel. To further adjust the handbrake, you will need to adjust the brake shoe nut located on the inside of the rear wheels. Once these have been adjusted, you can go inside the cabin, making sure that the lever functions correctly.
