To adjust the handbrake on the Suzuki Jimny, tighten the nut located at the base of the handbrake lever. Tightening it will make the lever firmer and reduce its travel; conversely, loosening the nut will make the lever softer and increase its travel.

For further adjustment, you will need to adjust the adjuster nut located at the rear wheels. Once these are adjusted, check that the lever operates correctly from inside the cabin.
