To replace the rear brake shoes on the Sym Tonik, you need to loosen the pipe located above the exhaust and remove the bolts securing the mudguard and the exhaust. This will allow you to completely remove the exhaust, accessing the nut that secures the central axle of the rear wheel. Once this has been removed, you can extract the old brake shoes from inside the drum and replace them with new spare parts. After replacement, reinstall all previously removed parts by following the operations in reverse order.
