To change the engine oil on a Sym Elite 50, start by placing the scooter on a flat surface and make sure the engine is warm, not hot. Locate the oil drain plug on the engine and place a collection container underneath it. Unscrew the drain plug and let the used oil drain into the container. Once the draining is complete, screw the drain plug back in. Next, locate the oil fill cap on the engine and remove it. Use a funnel to pour the new oil into the reservoir, being careful not to exceed the recommended level. Once the new oil has been added, screw the fill cap back in. Make sure both caps are securely tightened. Start the scooter for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate in the engine. Finally, turn off the scooter, and you will have completed the oil change.
