How to Replace the Timing Chain on a Tata Zest?

To replace the timing chain on a Tata Zest, open the hood to access the components on the left side of the engine block. There will be a protective panel that needs to be removed by unscrewing its mounting screws: this will provide access to the chain.

To remove it, unscrew the bolts securing the tensioner and slide it off the pulleys: then you can install the new chain, which must be tensioned by mounting the tensioner. Finally, cover everything with the panel that was removed earlier.
